BBC 7 will begin broadcasting Villette next week which can be heard via http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbc7.

Lucy Snowe flees from an unhappy past in England and begins a new life as a teacher at a French boarding school… Brontë's strikingly modern heroine must decide if there is any man in her society with whom she can live and still be free. The three part drama is beautifully directed by Catherine Bailey and James Friel. Originally broadcast on Radio 4 in 1999.Wednesday to Friday 10 am 9 pm and 2 am
